I have known Luke Jensen since middle school. I can think of no greater ambassador for Lewiston in Augusta.
He served four years as class president at Lewiston High School. He is also the only person in the history of Lewiston to serve as president of the Lewiston Youth Advisory Council twice.
In our four years on the Youth Council, our team organized the All-America City winning program of 2007.
In his senior year, he was elected Speaker of the House by the Model State Legislature.
Jensen is a remarkable leader and an unwavering champion for Lewiston. He didn’t leave Maine after college. He came back to Lewiston to serve the people by bringing jobs and opportunity here.
As a young man who hopes to start a career and not work minimum wage, I’ll be voting for Luke Jensen. People who want the same for their children should join me.
