1919 – 2014

LEWISTON — Olivette Marquis, 95, of Greene passed away Friday, Sept. 19, at St. Mary’s d’Youville Pavilion, where she resided for the past two months.

She was born April 5, 1919, in Bowdoin to the late Odilard and Alice Bellaire Giguere. She grew up in Auburn and married Raymond Marquis on Nov. 8, 1947. He died May 17, 1999.

She is survived by her six children, Daniel Marquis of Sabattus, Linda Cote and husband, Raymond, of Lewiston, Larry Marquis and wife, Cheryl, of Turner, Donna Morrison and husband, Daniel, of Greene, Debbie Smith and husband, Stan, of Auburn, and Lee Marquis and husband, Jim Bilodeau, of Portland; grandchildren, Amie, Brandy, Chad, Stacy, Scott, Stephen, Chelsea, Allison and Ray, great-grandchildren, Zain, Marquis, Talon, Julia, Gavin, Landon, Garrett, Colton, Brooke and Mariah.

She was also predeceased by three sisters; four brothers; and great-grandchildren, twins Kaylee and Kayla.
