FARMINGTON — The eighth annuual Al Corey Big Band Autumn Dance will start with a dance clinic from 6-7 p.m. followed by the dance from 7-10 p.m. Saturday Sept. 27, at Mt. Blue Middle School Cafeteria.
Come dance to Big Band music from the 1940s, 50s, and 60s with the Al Corey Band and vocalist. Professional dancers and instructors Billy Shinzel and Danielle Ruane will conduct a dance clinic teaching ballroom basics,the fox trot, waltz, tango, salsa and more.
Refreshments will feature a chocolate fountain with fresh strawberries and other items to sample.
Money raised will help the Music Boosters support the music program in the Mt. Blue Regional School District grades K-12.
Tickets may be purchased at Devaney, Doak & Garrett Booksellers or Wilton Public Library in Wilton. Advance tickets are adults $15 / students and seniors $10.
