RUMFORD — A Mass of Christian Burial for Edna M. Fickett of Rumford was celebrated at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 20, at Parish of the Holy Savior, St. Athanasius — St. John Church, 126 Maine Ave., Rumford, with the Rev. Greg Dube as celebrant.

Altar Assistant was Bernard Poirier.

Organist was Mark Belanger.

Music included, prelude, “Bridge Over Troubled Waters,” and during the Mass, “Amazing Grace,” “Ave Maria” and “Because the Lord is My Shepherd.”

The readings from the Old Testament and New Testament were pronounced by Barbara Doherty.

The Eulogy was given by her nephew, Ron Moreau, who also read the poem, “The Sailing Ship.”

Committal services were conducted by the Rev. Greg Dube.

Interment was at the Demerritt Cemetery, West Peru.
