Teen dance, more at Snowshoe Club

RUMFORD — A teen dance will be held downstairs at the Snowshoe Club on Waldo Street from 6 to 10 a.m. Friday, Sept. 26.

$2 each; there will be Red Bull slushies, slush puppies, popcorn and soda for sale.

Friday night open mic will take place upstairs at the club. The public is invited to sing songs or play an instrument.

Saturday night dance to the Grindstone Band will take place from 7 to 11 p.m. Members and guests are welcome.

Sale benefits food pantry

DIXFIELD — A fall yard sale to benefit the Families in Crisis Task Force food pantry will be held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday and Saturday, Sept. 26-27, at 8 Coburn Ave., across from the high school.

There will be new holiday items, fall clothing, toys, household items and more.

Red Hat Mommas to meet Sept. 27

BETHEL — The Red Hat Mommas’ September gathering at Sunday River has been changed to Saturday, Sept. 27.

The group will leave the Marden’s parking lot at 10:30 a.m. and will have lunch at S. S. Milton’s in Bethel.
