1960 – 2014

AUBURN — Norma Jean Davis, 54, of Sabattus, passed away early Wednesday, Sept. 24, at the Hospice House of Androscoggin Home Care and Hospice, following a very brief illness. She was surrounded by family and friends.

Norma was born in Lewiston on Feb. 15, 1960, the youngest daughter of Lucien A. Pelletier and Clarinda McGraw Pelletier. She was educated in Lewiston schools and graduated from Lewiston High School, Class of 1978. She attended Central Maine Medical Center Radiology School for radiologic technology, Class of 1981; Central Maine Community College, Class of 2000, for medical coding; and the American Academy of Professional Coders in 2001.

She was a licensed professional coder. Norma worked part time at St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center from 1981 to Spring 2014 in the EKG department; for Dr. Doug Richardson as an EEG technician from 1982 to 1993; at Central Maine Orthopaedics from 1993 to 1998; at Androscoggin Cardiology from 1998 to 2012, as a certified medical coder; and at Central Maine Medical Center from 2012 to 2014, as a certified medical coder.

She married M. Jerome “Jerry” Davis III on Oct. 14, 1983, and they had two children.

Norma is survived by her husband of 31 years, M. Jerome “Jerry” Davis III; a daughter, Jessica L. Davis; a son, Joshua Davis and financeé, Jessica Neureuther; grandchildren, Noah and Kaden Neureuther; sisters, Ivy Brochu and husband, Jim, and Roxanne Pelletier-Barker and husband, Earl; father-in-law, M. Jerome Davis Jr.; brothers-in-law, Glenn Davis and wife, Jacqueline, and Scott Davis and wife, Lisa; sister-in-law, Joan Davis; nephews, Kevin Brochu and fianceé, Susan Cardello, Corey Belanger and wife, Amanda, Eric Belanger and girlfriend, Miranda Lee, Matthew Davis and fianceé, Chelbie Aube, Jordan Davis, Courtney Davis and fiance, Randy Wheeler, and Erica Davis; and a grandnephew, Carter Belanger. She also leaves many aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family and coworkers.

She was predeceased by her parents; a brother-in-law, Michael Davis; and her mother-in-law, Patricia Davis.

The family would like to thank the Hospice House for its excellent care, professionalism and kindness during this very difficult time.
