I am writing in support of independent candidate Mark Cayer’s bid for Maine’s House of Representatives.
As Lewiston City Council president for two terms, Cayer’s leadership has had an immensely positive impact on the city of Lewiston.
As a citizen of Lewiston and one who has taken the time to go to City Council meetings, I believe Cayer’s outlook is that of a leader who cares for and looks out for the best interest of the city by first becoming knowledgeable, without bias, on an issue and then making an informed decision.
He consistently puts his constituents and their best interests first which, not surprisingly, coincides with the city of Lewiston’s best interest.
I strongly feel that Mark Cayers’ courageous and honest leadership makes him the best candidate for District 61. He will have my vote on Nov. 4.
