1982 – 2014

GREENE — Stephen Tapley passed away tragically Wednesday, Sept. 24, at his home in Greene.

Stephen cared deeply for his wife and soul mate, Stacy. Together they formed an unbreakable bond despite life’s challenges. Stacy and Stephen shared their love with the world by creating their son, Jonathan Joseph.

Stephen was a passionate man who took pride in his family. He provided with his love, care, kindness and with all he had to give. He had so much love for his family, and he showed it every moment he could. Stephen had a huge heart. He shared his heart with anyone willing to accept it.

Stephen leaves behind his wife, Stacy; son, Jonathan; stepson, Eric; and stepdaughter, Megan, whom he loved “oh so much.” Stephen will be missed by his parents of South Portland, Betty and Michael; his older brother, Kevin, and younger brother, Ryan. Stephen will be missed by his nephews, Haydyn and Brandon; and niece, Abigail. He leaves behind his newest companion, Macy, an American bulldog puppy. Stephen will be missed by many more family and friends.

Stephen’s body and soul have left us, but his heart remains here with us all.
