A golf tournament to support the training of local U.S. Ski Team member Troy Murphy will take place Sunday, Oct. 12 at 9 a.m. at the Bethel Inn & Country Club. The 18-hole scramble is $100 per player. A hole-in-one on a par 3 wins a free car, courtesy of Weir Motors.
Murphy, a graduate of Gould Academy was the 2014 FIS World Cup Rookie of the Year, and was a 2014 Olympic alternate. He is also a three-time U.S. Selection Event winner and a Junior National Champion.
