RUMFORD — The Rumford Public Library will host a free screening of a movie about health care in Maine at 4 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 9, in the community room, resident Joe Sirois said Wednesday.

“The Healthcare Movie focuses on health care systems in the United States and Canada, how they are different from one another, and how Canada transitioned into a universal health care system.

Sirois said will be a discussion following the movie, along with a question-and-answer segment led by members of Maine AllCare, a nonprofit, nonpartisan organization that “promotes health care for Maine people.”

For more information, call Sirois at 364-3913 or email him at jnsirois@roadrunner.com.
