TURNER — SAD 52 Adult & Community Education, 486 Turner Center Road, is offering Arts, Crafts, Career & Training, Health and Wellness, and a chance to explore the outdoors during fall classes.
There will be another Watercolor Paint Party on Wednesday, Oct. 8. Sign up for a relaxing night to create a complete 5×7 painting. Step-by-step instructions will be provided. No experience is required and all supplies are included.
Heart-saver CPR & AED class will also be held on Oct. 8. The course is useful for elementary through high school students, neighborhood groups and people caring for adults at a high risk of heart attacks or strokes.
Courses starting the week of Oct. 13 will include Reiki II, an ancient art that channels energy through the hands to promote healing. The second degree of Reiki consists of additional symbols and the training of in absentia healing (also known as long distance or psychic healing). Participants will receive their second atonement and certificate of achievement.
Pottery Fun will provide a chance to create unique pieces while exploring wheel, hand-building and glazing techniques.
