JAY — Sondra J. Lucarelli, 55, of Jay, surrounded by her loving family, lost her long and courageous battle with lung cancer Thursday, Oct. 2.
She was employed for 25 years at International Paper Co. in Jay as a trimming clerk in the order department. She was a very loving and caring person, who had many friends and made friends easily everywhere she went. She had many interests in life, including traveling, NASCAR and casinos. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with friends, family and her beloved dogs, Ching and Cosmo.
She is survived by her husband, William “Bill” Meserve; parents, Olindo Jr. and Janet (Reed) Lucarelli; brother, Robbie Lucarelli; nephews, Jason Lucarelli and his wife, Eliza, Branden Lucarelli, Jody Welch; niece, Rhonda Lucarelli; great-nephews, Alec, Dominic, Benjamin, Zachary and Jameson; great-niece, Megan; and a close family friend, Brian Turner.
She was predeceased by her paternal and maternal grandparents; her beloved sister, Linda Welch; and niece, Jenny Welch.
