While I do not live in Androscoggin County and am unable to vote in the race for sheriff, I do feel that Eric Samson is the best candidate for the position.
I know all three candidates running and like them on a personal level, but I believe that Samson is best suited for moving the Androscoggin County Sheriff’s Office forward.
He has been in a supervisory position in the jail and is intimately aware of the needs of the largest budget item in the county. He has also served as chief deputy twice for Sheriff Guy Desjardins. He is a working deputy and knows the needs and issues of the patrol division.
He has served on the Auburn City Council and understands local politics.
I give my endorsement to Eric Samson for Androscoggin County sheriff this November.
