PLYMOUTH — A 52-year old local man was found dead along Rutland Road early Monday morning, according to state police.
Maine State Police spokesman Stephen McCausland said Monday afternoon that the dead man has been identified as Mark Michaud of Plymouth.
McCausland said Michaud’s body was located shortly before dawn by raccoon hunters and that foul play is not suspected in Michaud’s death.
The spokesman added Michaud’s residence is “very near” where his body was found on Rutland Road.
No cause of death has been determined, and Michaud’s body was taken to the state medical examiner’s office in Augusta for examination.
