LEWISTON — Androscoggin Home Care & Hospice will hold its 11th annual Autumn Night Out Silent Auction & Gala on Friday, Oct. 24, at Poland Spring Resort in Poland, with proceeds benefiting AHCH’s Hospice Program.

The evening will begin at 6 p.m. with hors d’oeuvres, a wine and beer tasting courtesy of Central Distributors and Baxter Brewing Co., silent auction bidding and music by Kathy Haley with dinner, live bidding and music and dancing with The Don Campbell Band to follow. Norm Karkos from WMTW News 8 will serve as master of ceremonies.

“We’ve got lots of exciting new things planned for our 11th annual Autumn Night Out” said Cyndi Robbins, volunteer chair of the Autumn Night Out Planning Committee and owner of Poland Spring Resort & Golf Course. “With the recent changes in funding and reimbursements as of late, events like Autumn Night Out are imperative to AHCH’s mission to never turn a patient away because of inability to pay. The funds raised via Autumn Night Out mean that every person needing hospice services is cared for, no matter what.”

Silent and live auctions will include gift certificates, antiques, art work by local artisans, trips and getaways.

The event’s planning committee also has some exciting games planned, bringing back the ever popular “Heads or Tails” game, as well as introducing a new game: “The Wine Wall.” Guests can buy a raffle cork with a number that corresponds to individually wrapped bottles of wine. Wines range from the everyday to gourmet. The planning committee is still in search of auction item donations as well as bottled wine donations.

Reservations are $65 per person and seating is reserved. Tables of six or 10 may also be reserved for $390 or $650. Reservations, auction item donations and wine donations can be made by visiting www.ahch.org, calling 207-795-9469 or emailing Danielle at danielle.eaton@ahch.org.

RSVP by Oct. 15.
