RUMFORD — Paper Moon Players has announced auditions for “It’s A Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play” by Joe Landry will be held at 6 p.m. Sunday and Monday, Oct. 19 and 20, at 49 Franklin in the Mystic Theater.

Inspired by Frank Capra’s cinematic classic, this beloved holiday treat will be performed as a 1940s live radio broadcast in front of a studio audience. An ensemble of actors (and one clever sound man) will play the dozens of characters in Bedford Falls. The Players are eeking versatile performers for this nostalgic blend of holiday cheer and theatrical magic.

All roles are open. A sample of the script is available at Playscripts.com. Rehearsals will be held Monday and Tuesday evenings.

Performances will be held at 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday, Dec. 19 and 20, and at 2 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 21.

Keith A. Grassette will direct and producers are Cindy and Scot Grassette.
