The Center Stage Players are an ensemble of actors 55 or older, who produce their works as reader’s theater.

“I Hope I’m Not Crowding You” features a potpourri of contemporary theater done as staged readings, script in hand. A cast of 11 actors perform the six plays that comprise this offering, dealing with themes of friendship, illness, confusion, frustration and animal rights, often with a rich dose of humor, and some adult language.

The cast includes Millie Ackley, Sybil Baker, Whitney Blair, Marcia Clayton, Ann Cort, Earl Inman, Patricia Johnson, Bill and Jean Konzal, George Phipps and Diana Wells.

The show is directed by Theater Project founder and Artistic Director Al Miller.

Tickets are Pay-What-You-Want, with a suggested price of $5. Tickets are available at 207-729-8584. The Theater Project is at 14 School Street.
