GRAY — A second community forum on two bond referendum questions by SAD 15 will be held at 6 p.m. Tuesday at Gray-New Gloucester High School.

On Nov. 4, taxpayers in Gray and New Gloucester will be asked to approve two bonds totaling $7.34 million for improvements to the middle and high schools and athletic complex.

The first referendum question seeks approval to spend $6,623,080 to fund expansion of Gray-New Gloucester Middle School classrooms at $1,618,000; renovate and repair the school portico at $173,000; upgrade the middle school parking lot at $585,000; and renovate two high school science labs at $492,000. Also, athletic field improvements, upgrades and development without artificial turf are sought at $3,755,000.

The second bond request asks voters to approve spending $738,000 to install artificial turf on a stadium field.
