Aramark Higher Education is the contracted dining services for the University of Maine at Farmington.
Matthew M. Black, 31, was indicted for felony theft by unauthorized taking or transfer, Chief Brock Caton of the UMF Campus Police Department said.
Black, a former office manager with Aramark Higher Education, was charged by Caton in July with the felony theft for reportedly stealing over $14,000 from Aramark’s petty cash fund.
The amount was taken between Oct. 1, 2013, and June 26, according to a court document.
