LEWISTON — Christopher and Holly Berry Moiles of Waldoboro are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Isobel Calderwood Moiles of Lewiston, to Jared Forrest Golden of Lewiston, son of Joe and Jeannine Golden of Leeds.
Miss Moiles is a 2011 graduate of Bates College with a degree in politics. She is currently working for the Maine Democratic Party and will assume the position of the deputy communications director of the Maine Senate Democratic Office after the election in November.
Mr. Golden is a former Marine who served in both Afghanistan and Iraq before graduating from Bates College in 2011. He earned degrees in politics and history and is currently a candidate for the Maine House in Lewiston.
The wedding is planned for Sept. 12, 2015.
