WILTON — The Tyngtown Tee Time was held Aug. 23 at the Wilson Lake Country Club. This was the fifth year of the fundraiser for the Tyngtown Club of Wilton.

Golfers and picnic attendees enjoyed a beautiful day. After a breakfast of doughnuts, scones and apples, the scrambles event kicked off with a bagpiper sendoff by Aiden Underwood.

The winners were:

Raffles and putting contests were conducted during the morning. A delicious lunch was served by the Tyngtown ladies under the tents that the Boy Scouts and husbands had helped to set up. There were many hands behind the scenes in the cooking, setting up and taking down.
