HARTFORD — A section of Route 219 remained closed into Friday evening as crews worked to right a loaded cement truck that rolled over late Friday morning.

A dispatcher at the Oxford County Regional Communications Center in Paris said the P&K Sand and Gravel cement truck from Casco rolled over at 11:10 a.m. after turning onto Route 219. The driver suffered minor injuries but wasn’t taken to a hospital.

Turner and Buckfield firefighters have been on scene ever since, directing traffic, which is being rerouted around the accident on Route 140 on one end and Church Street on the other.

The dispatcher said two wreckers from Greeley’s Garage in Auburn were sent to the scene to right the cement truck, but one of the wreckers rolled over while attempting to do so.
