I offer an endorsement for my friend, Bettyann Sheats, who is running to be the state representative for Minot and part of Auburn.
I have known her for 18 years through volunteer work and through our church. I have seen her integrity, trustworthiness and hard work ethic in person.
In her role in the church, I have seen her creativity and compassion, while balancing the needs of an aging church group and desire to attract young families. That is a skill leaders will need in Augusta.
I fully endorse Bettyann Sheats and hope residents in her district will support her on Nov. 4.
