RUMFORD POINT — Funeral services celebrating the life of Wendell I. “Happy” Easter of Rumford were conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 25, at the Rumford Point Congregational Church, Rumford Point, with the Rev. Cindy Christie officiating.
Organist was Lynn Ramsey. Music selection was “The Old Rugged Cross.” Special music “Amazing Grace,” and “Wings of a Dove” was sung by pianist Sammy Angel.
Words of remembrance were given by several family and friends.
Committal services were conducted by the Rev. Cindy Christie with Military Honors provided by the Maine Military Funeral Honors Program from Augusta.
Interment was in the West Ellis Cemetery, Rumford.
A reception followed at the Rumford Point Congregational Church.
Arrangements were under the care of the Meader & Son Funeral Home, 3 Franklin St., P.O. Box 537, Rumford, ME 04276.
