AUBURN — A Mechanic Falls woman run over and killed by a tractor-trailer last week in the Wal-Mart parking lot was lying on the pavement when she was hit, according to a police report.

Kassandra Lavoie, 33, was lying toward the rear of the parking lot near the gas station when Hasan Williams, 40, of Tobyhanna, Pa., drove his 2014 Freightliner, owned by Metropolitan Trucking, over her body, according to the accident report.

A sketch provided in the report indicated a discarded can of air duster was not far from Lavoie’s body.

Earlier in the day, police issued her a summons for theft — stemming from an incident in Lewiston the day before — and unlawful use or possession of inhalants.

Williams was given a breath test following the incident which found no trace of alcohol.

Williams was also not cited for contributing actions in the incident. Tests are still pending on Lavoie.
