, 78, of Oxford, died on Sunday, Oct. 26, at Clover Manor.

She was born in Lewiston on June 23, 1936, the daughter of John and Florence Desjardins Fallon. She graduated from Lewiston High School, Class of 1954. She married Edward Lyons on Nov. 5, 1955. She had been employed at Reed & Hughes, Ward Bros., New England Telephone as an operator and was the first 911 dispatcher for Lewiston and Auburn. She also worked at the Roundhouse restaurant and for L.L. Bean. She was a member of the Floyd Harlow VFW Post No. 9787 and the Anderson/Staples American Legion Auxiliary Post No. 112. She was a member of the bowling league at Holiday Lanes. “Ma” was a member of Red Sox nation and a true fan and considered herself very lucky to see the Sox win three World Series.

Constance is survived by her husband, Edward of Oxford; son, retired Navy Commander John and Alicia Lyons of Suffolk, Va.; granddaughters, Amanda Lyons of Suffolk, Va., Nicole Lyons-Porter and husband, Patrick Porter, of Suffolk, Va.; grandson, Zachary and wife, Amber Lyons, of Newport News, Va.; daughter, Donna and husband, David Rowell, of Payson, Ariz.; granddaughter, Melissa Rowell of Chandler, Ariz.; and grandson, Andrew Rowell of Portsmouth, Va.; son, Timothy Lyons and wife, Linda, of Ridgecrest, Calif.; granddaughters, Rebecca and husband, Dan Lewis, of Seattle, Wash.; and their two children, Ethan and Addison; Alexa Lyons of Oxford and Isabelle Lyons, of Ridgecrest, Calif.; daughter, Debra Lyons of Oxford; son, Kevin Lyons and better half, Michelle, of Livermore Falls; granddaughters, Belinda and Adam Dupile and their children, Bradley, Gracie and Avery, Daniella Lyons of Mass., and Meegan, of Livermore Falls; grandson, Dillon Lyons; son, Edward Lyons Jr., of Oxford; stepgrandchildren, Stephen of N.Y., Samantha and Tim Paradis, of South Paris.
