A recent letter to the editor asked if Gov. Paul LePage lives on a different planet. The author had a variety of questions for him. Here are answers to some of those questions.

Where are the jobs? Look around. Businesses have been hiring and there have been plenty of job fairs.

Jobs for the disabled? Maine has programs that help people with disabilities find jobs.

Transportation? Maine has public transportation, Western Transportation, get a cab, ask a friend or family member, walk.

Babysitter? Maine offers help financially for babysitting. Ask a friend or family member for help. If the desire to work is there, apply yourself. Look around and use the programs that are available. You may feel better about yourself.

EBT cards should have photos. Not all welfare recipients are fraudulent; however, in Maine, it has been abused and has become a way of life.
