Grange to host turkey supper

BETHEL — A turkey supper will take place at 5 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 8, at Alder River Grange, 1895 Intervale Road. Cost is $8 for adults, $3 for children under 12 and free for veterans.

Heywood Club to give history

NORWAY — The Heywood Club of Norway will meet at 5:30 p.m. Monday, Nov. 10, at the clubhouse for a social time, followed by a potluck supper at 6.

An informational meeting will be held after, regarding who and what the Heywood Club is, as well as some history of the club. Members are asked to invite a neighbor who might be interested in joining. Dues for 2014 is also due in the amount of $10.
