AUGUSTA — Graveside committal prayers honoring the life of Donat Fournier were held Tuesday afternoon, Nov. 4, at Maine Veterans’ Memorial Cemetery.

Deacon John Brennan recited committal prayers, followed by the U.S. Navy honor detail playing taps and presenting our country’s flag to Donat’s daughter, Jo-Ann, for services rendered by Donat to his country during the Cold War. Jo-Ann then shared words of remembrance at the conclusion of services.

Pallbearers were John, Robert, Robert F. and Nathaniel Allen, as well as Josh and Sasha Fournier. Arrangements were by Pinette Dillingham & Lynch Funeral Home of Lewiston.
