1942 – 2014

WORCESTER, Mass. — Mary Anne Rennie, 72, of Worcester, Mass., and formerly of Rumford, passed away on Wednesday, Oct. 15, at Lutheran Rehabilitation in Worcester, following a courageous battle with cancer.

She was born in Rumford on May 16, 1942, a daughter of Samuel and Eva Gionet.

Mary Anne’s passions in life were listening to and writing music, and playing the guitar.

She is survived by two children, John Thibodeau and wife, Jeanette, of East Douglas, Mass., and Jane Barkie and husband, David, of Contoocook, N.H.; three stepchildren, Sheryl, Cindy and Jimmy Rennie; a sister, Lorraine J. Barre, of Rumford; a brother, Roger Gionet, of Jacksonville, Fla.; and four grandchildren, Justin Kellett, Troy and Cortney Thibodeau and Connor Barkie.

She was predeceased by her parents; her first husband, Robert Thibodeau; her second husband, James David Rennie; and a grandson, Brandon Kellett.
