BETHEL — The Senior College Players will hold its annual performance at 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday, Nov. 21 and 22, at the Gould Academy Trustees auditorium.
Ross Timberlake facilitates the Senior College Players class at the Western Mountains Senior College with Lorrie Hoeh, and the final performance in the fall differs every year.
“Last year, we did a performance of three separate comedies called ‘Please Pardon Us For Stepping On Your Lawns,’” Timberlake said. “We’re doing three comedies again this year, and together, the performance is being called ‘We Hope We Passed the Audition.’”
The class is taught at the Western Mountains Senior College, and those interested in theater are welcome to join.
In a previous interview, Timberlake said the players, in keeping with senior theater practice across the country, are not required to memorize scripts and may carry them on stage.
Admission to the performances is free, though donations will be accepted to offset royalties.
“We’ll be paying some royalties in order to perform these comedies,” Timberlake said. “Any donations would go toward helping us in that regard.”
