OAKLAND — Leo J. Michaud, 71, of Oakland went to be with the Lord Monday, Nov. 3, of natural causes.

He was born in Van Buren, the son of Leon and Gertrude Michaud.

He will be remembered by his love for singing and playing guitar, in recent years along side his late wife, Teri. He loved his church family at West Sydney Baptist Church. One of his biggest joys was spoiling his dogs, Koko and the late Moxie.

He was predeceased by his wife, Theresa Michaud; his daughter, Amy Merill; and his granddaughter, Gabriella McGinley.

He is survived by his five children, daughter, Jamie Michaud, daughter, Pam Reed and husband, Dan, son, Phil Michaud and wife, Lisa, son, Brian Michaud and wife, Jessica, and daughter, Carolyn McGinley and husband, John; many grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and the mother of his children, Connie Michaud.
