1926 – 2014

AUBURN — Lucille T. Thibodeau, 88, of Auburn, died Wednesday, Oct. 29, at the Clover Manor in Auburn.

Born in Bangor on June 25, 1926, she was the daughter of Alphonse and Anna Bolduc Bernier. She was educated in Catholic schools.

In 1946, she married Wallace Thibodeau, who passed away in 2010. Together they had three children and settled in Lewiston.

She worked for several years as a seamstress at the Pepperell Mill.

Lucille was a quiet homebody, who devoted herself to her children and grandchildren. She loved to sew, knit, cook and decorate, and also loved to swim at the YMCA on a regular basis.

She was predeceased by a daughter, Peggy St. Laurent. Besides her parents, husband and daughter, she was also predeceased by two brothers and two sisters.

She is survived by a daughter, Janice and husband, Lionel Pelletier, of Windham; a son-in-law, Louis St. Laurent of Lewiston; a son, Michael Thibodeau and wife, Linda, of Atlantic Beach, Fla.; a sister, Carmen Dam of Auburn; four grandchildren, Ryan St. Laurent, Jill Roberts and Monique and Daniel Thibodeau; six great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
