1942 – 2014

LEWISTON — Raymond Joseph Deon, 72, of Lewiston died Thursday, Nov. 6 after a long illness.

He was born in Boston on June 7, 1942, the son of Raymond M. and Delia (Hynes) Deon of Ireland.

Ray’s love of life was teaching martial arts. He taught 55 years and was founder of the Willow Martial Arts Dojo.

He leaves behind all his friends in judo and aikido as his family.
