Grange going to Italy for supper
EAST WILTON — Wilson Grange 321 will serve a Passport Dinner to Florence, Italy, at 6 p.m. Friday, Nov. 14, at the Grange Hall, Main Street.
The menu will include chicken cacciatore, Florence-style, Tuscan bread, Mediterranean vegetables and zuccotto, a sweets-filled sponge cake. Cost is $12 a person, and reservations are required.

‘Souper’ supper at Grange
CHESTERVILLE — The Chesterville Grange will have a “souper” supper on Friday, Nov. 14, serving between 5 and 6:30 p.m. There will be homemade soups, chowders, breads and dessert.

Good turnout for tennis tourney
WILTON — The Tyngtown Club had a good turnout for the annual Gail Saviello Memorial Tennis Scrambles on Oct. 18. The women’s winners were Patty Schoen and Stacey Edgar; men, Eddie Yuen and Mark Stofan.
A yearly fundraising event, proceeds go toward the upkeep and maintenance of the clay tennis courts at the Academy Hill School.
The Tyngtown Club is in its 114th year. It holds a variety of fundraising events each year and donates the proceeds to the Wilton Free Public Library, the Wilton Scholarship Fund, the Wilton Early Childhood Center and others. The club also provides and plants flowers for more than 30 window boxes throughout downtown Wilton each year.
