Auxiliary craft fair, Chinese auction

MECHANIC FALLS — A craft fair and Chinese auction will be held by the Auxiliary from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 15, at American Legion Post 150, 41 Elm St.

A bake sale, white elephant tables and Rada knifes will also be available.

Bible prophecy seminar at Ark

LEWISTON — “Revelation of Hope,” a Bible prophecy seminar with Pastor Rick Kuntz, continues at 6:30 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 16, and Tuesday, Nov. 18, at The Ark & Luncheon Cafe, 791 Lisbon St.

Understand the books of Daniel and Revelation. Sunday’s theme will be “God’s Prophetic Messengers” and Tuesday’s will be “God’s Final Appeal and the Unpardonable Sin.”

NARFE chapter to meet Nov. 18

LEWISTON — The Lewiston Chapter 1804 of the National Association of Retired Federal Employees will meet at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 18, at the Ramada Inn.

A social time will be followed by lunch at noon.

Nominations for officers for 2015 will be discussed and determined.

YPLAA After Hours is Nov. 18

LEWISTON — On Tuesday, Nov. 18, from 5 to 7 p.m., the Young Professionals of the Lewiston Auburn Area will hold their November YAH! – YPLAA After Hours event, at J. Dostie Jewelers, 4 Lisbon St.

Hors d’oeuvres from The Library Cafe will be served, there will be door prizes and the opportunity to meet and network with new people.

The November YAH! is free to attend and all are welcome. YPLAA membership not required.

New Auburn Seniors to meet Wednesday

AUBURN — The New Auburn Seniors will have a turkey dinner Wednesday, Nov. 19, at Sacred Heart Church.

Cost is $5.

A special remembrance of deceased members will be held at 11:30 a.m.

Dinner and a short bingo will follow.

The Christmas party will take place on Dec. 3 and will be catered by Chick-A-Dee. A social hour will start at 11 a.m. with the buffet at noon. Barry Wood will entertain. Tickets are $10 per person. Please buy early.

LEWISTON — The Lewiston Senior Citizens Cribbage League winners at the Lewiston Memorial Armory on Nov. 6 were: first, Jeannine Labbe and Trudy Faunce; second, Diane Torres and Don Haley; third, Pat Records and Gerry Roy; fourth, Bert Chenard and Arnie Burgess; fifth, Betty Ames and Terry Lowell.

The next game will be played at 9 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 13.
