I am very proud of the people of Maine and the people of the United States of America.
I thank all those people who voted. For those people who gave up and decided that their votes did not count, just look at what happened with this election. A vote is never wasted. The people have spoken.
The media have always shown how much they love the current president. However, the people have spoken.
I was amazed with the amount of money that poured into Maine from out of state, trying to tell residents what to think and who to vote for. The United States is not a monarchy, it is a democracy of the people, by the people and for the people and the majority of the people have spoken loud and clear.
The Republican Party seems to have heard them. The Democrats in Washington seem to think the current election was not a message for them.
