OLD ORCHARD BEACH — Georgette R. (Lepage) Larochelle, 86, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, Nov. 11., at home from complications of Alzheimer’s with loving family members by her side.
Born in Lewiston, the daughter of Charles and Violette Lepage, she spent most of her life in Lewiston and St. Petersburg, Fla. She always remarked that one of her greatest thrills was moving from Lisbon Street as a child to Riverside Street, where the experience of playing on green grass was like going to heaven.
She was a homemaker and bookkeeper, having retired from the payroll office at Central Maine Medical Center.
She will be remembered for her generosity and intelligence and mostly for being a wonderful mother.
She is survived by a brother, Charles Lepage Jr. and wife, Joan, of Rumford; son, Lionel R. Boulay and wife, Janice, of Naples; daughters, Elizabeth Richards of St. Petersburg, Fla., Katherine Addison of Auburn and Cynthia Boulay of Old Orchard Beach; three grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
She is predeceased by her first husband, Lionel H. Boulay, and second husband, Leonel Larochelle; stepchildren, Pauline Larochelle and Ronald Larochelle; granddaughter, Kelly Boulay; and sisters, Irene Banitas and Alma Grimmel.
Special thanks to daughter Cindy, who made it possible for her to remain at home until the end.
