LEWISTON — Area residents woke up to see a few inches of snow covering their cars Friday morning, but not much of that stuck to the roads.
And it didn’t seem to have caused many problems on the streets.
The National Weather Service reported 2.7 inches at about 6 a.m. at its Gray office. Local snowfall totals were:
- Turner: 3.5
- E Lewiston: 3.0
- W Otisfield: 3.0
- E Paris: 2.5
- SW North Turner: 2.0
- NNW Greene: 2.0
- WNW Bethel: 1.1
- Andover: 1.0
- Farmington: 0.2
Bangor International Airport and Portland Jetport did not report any delays or cancellations.
Friday’s high is forecast to be near 40.
