WINTHROP — A Winthrop man is in jail being held without bail this morning after police said he threatened a woman with a handgun.
According to WCSH 6, Joseph Finch brandished a gun and told a woman he was living with that he was going to kill her.
The Maine State Police Tactical & Negotiation team was called in shortly before 10:00pm. The tactical team took Finch into custody several hours later.
The woman wasn’t hurt.
WCSH 6 reported that Finch was charged with domestic violence terrorizing, and is being held at the Kennebec County Jail. Domestic violence terrorizing is a felony charge.
