WOODSTOCK — The Woodstock S.D.A. Food Pantry has been serving hundreds of families in need from the communities of West Paris, Woodstock, Bryant Pond, Locke Mills, Greenwood and Sumner for over 20 years.

This mission has been growing in numbers for several years now as more and more families are finding themselves in need.

The pantry is available for emergency situations as well, and the number to call for an emergency is 207-393-7458. Ask for Faye.

The pantry is in desperate need of funds in order for this vital service to continue. The cost of purchasing bulk product, pick up and delivery for the growing numbers is daunting.

More than 50 volunteers graciously donate their time twice monthly.

The long-term goal is to not only continue this mission but to someday have a walk-in cooler/freezer that will replace the existing fridges and freezers currently used to store product.

Pantry volunteers are asking members of the community to reach into their hearts and send whatever they can to help.

Every dollar will help and will be greatly appreciated.

Tax-deductible checks can be sent to: The Woodstock S.D.A. Food Pantry, 25 Perkins Valley Road, Woodstock ME 04219.
