1954 – 2014

LEEDS — Mark L. Lovering, 60, a resident of Livermore, died unexpectedly on Wednesday, Nov. 19, while traveling along Route 219 in Leeds.

He was born in Augusta on Nov. 19, 1954, a son of Frederick and Jean (Nicholas) Lovering. He was a 1974 graduate of Monmouth Academy. On June 25, 1976, in Auburn, he married Joline Gagnon; she passed away on April 5, 1995.

He enjoyed fishing, car shows, drag-racing and riding motorcycles, as well as all sports. Mark greatly appreciated time spent with his close friends; he especially loved the time with his sons and grandchildren.

Mark is survived by his sons and their wives, Joshua and Brandi Lovering of Buxton and Gregory and Jenny Lovering of Auburn; grandchildren, Kalvin Lovering and Andrew and Mya Letourneau; and his brothers, Mitch Lovering and his wife, Tricia, of Winthrop and Matthew Lovering of Augusta.

He was predeceased by his wife, Joline Lovering; and his parents.
