FREEPORT — The wedding of Jamie Castilla Monzo and Michael Jordan Tsai was held at 11:30 a.m. on Sept. 28 at the Old Town Hall in Freeport. Elizabeth (Betty) Larson officiated at the ceremony.

Ms. Monzo Tsai is the daughter of Sandra and the late Michael Monzo of Oxford. Mr. Tsai is the son of Paula Tsai of Etna, N.H., and Van Tsai of Dover, N.H.

The bride wore an ivory fitted trumpet gown with subtle pink flowers and a blush floral sash at the waist. She carried a bouquet with an abundant mix of bright pink, purple and ivory flowers.

Libby Eldred, best friend of the bride, was matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Tara and Erika Monzo, sisters of the bride. The flower girl was River Vélez, daughter of Darik Vélez.

The best man was Geoff Tsai, brother of the bridegroom. The groomsmen were Darik Vélez, best friend of the bridegroom, and Ian Monzo, brother of the bride. Ushers were Evan Trent, friend of the bridegroom, and Ian Monzo, brother of the bride.

A reception followed at the Ballroom at the Hilton Garden Inn. The couple plans to honeymoon in Hawaii in the spring. They reside in Hanover, N.H.

The bride graduated from Oxford Hills Comprehensive High School in South Paris. She received her bachelor’s degree in psychology/education from Mount Holyoke College and her master’s degree in educational psychology from the University of Maryland, College Park. She is a guidance counselor in Canaan, N.H.

The bridegroom graduated from Hanover High School in Hanover, N.H. He received his bachelor’s degree in computer science and engineering and his master’s degree in electrical engineering and computer science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He works as a software developer at C-Command Software.
