OXFORD — Anderson Staples #112 Legion, Auxiliary and SAL of Oxford offers any individuals the chance to honor family members, friends, veterans or special individuals (deceased or living) at a tree lighting to be held at the Post Home on King Street.

The tree lighting will be held at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 5.

The public is asked to join the Legionnaires, Auxiliary members and Sons in the post hall to participate in a short ceremony. A member of the post and a member of the Auxiliary will read names of those individuals who have been honored with a light on the tree.

The SAL will provide Christmas music along with a sing-a-long. Santa will be giving children who attend a small gift from the Legion family.

Refreshments will be served.
