RUMFORD — Pearlie Donald Carver, 86, died Monday, Nov. 24, at the home of his daughter, Cathleen. He resided on Crescent Street in Rumford.
Born in Walden, Nova Scotia, on Dec. 21, 1927, he was a son of William and Alice (Keddy) Carver. He attended schools in Nova Scotia. He worked at Hannaford as meat cutter manager, until his retirement in 1992.
Survivors include his two sons, Floyd Carver of Athol, Mass., and Glenn Carver of Owls Head; a daughter, Cathleen Arsenault and her husband, Andy, of Rumford; his former wife, Pauline Carver, of Owls Head; grandchildren, Stacey Gilbert and her husband, Jeff, of Rumford, Gary Arsenault Jr., and his wife, Bethany, of Windham, Carson Carver of Lewiston, Mykalia Carver of Lisbon, Ethan Carver of Germany and Sara Dulac of Auburn; great-grandchildren, Alexis and Trent Holman of Rumford, and great-grandchild-to-be, Liam Carver; brothers, Raymond of Moncton, New Brunswick, Douglas of Mahone Bay, Nova Scotia and Wallace of Bridgewater, Nova Scotia; and a sister, Frances Hiltz, of Halifax, Nova Scotia.
