1940 – 2014
NORWAY — Ronald L. Dillingham, 74, of West Paris, passed away Monday, Nov. 24, at the Norway Center for Health and Rehabilitation. He was a resident of Sumner and West Paris for most of his life.
Ronald was born on March 15, 1940, to Nelson and Marion Dillingham. He attended school in Sumner. He worked most of his career as a truck driver, whether it be plowing roads, driving a school bus or driving a dump truck.
Ronald was a longtime member of the Sumner Volunteer Fire Department and the West Paris Fire Department. He enjoyed gambling, camping, hunting and dancing. He spent many hours socializing at the store in Sumner. Ronald took pride in the lawns he maintained.
Ronald is survived by his longtime companion, Peggy Roberts; son, Kevin and wife, Stacy; son, Dennis; son, Dean and wife, Kim; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; brothers, Gordon and Lenwood; and sisters, Janice Mills and Gloria Dillingham.
He was predeceased by his parents and his son, Jeff.
