1931 – 2014

RUMFORD — Beverly F. Dunham, 83, of Mexico died Friday, Nov. 28, at the Rumford Hospital, Rumford.

She was born in North Windham on Sept. 27, 1931, the daughter of Delmer and Marion (Howard) Parker, and was a high school graduate.

Beverly was a member of the F.O.E. Auxiliary and a former member of the Rumford Grange. She enjoyed sewing, walking, collecting dolls and teddy bears, cooking and gardening, and she was well-known for her ingenuity in fixing things.

Survivors include daughters, Darlene Anderson of Mexico and Judy Dunham and her partner, Stephanie Rudd, of San Diego, Calif.; a son, George Freeman Jr. and his companion, Wanda Staples, of Augusta; brothers, Delmer Parker Jr. II of Andover and Donald Parker of Mexico; a sister, Dorothy Welch of Newton, Pa.; 7 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her parents; a daughter, Donna; two brothers; and a sister.
