CARTHAGE — State police arrested a father and son Wednesday after the two got into a verbal dispute that turned into a physical altercation, Maine State Police Trooper Keith Barton said Thursday.
Barton and Trooper David Powser responded to 27 Francis Place for a report of a domestic assault. Following an investigation, both Bennie Bowie, 66, and his son, Brandon Bowie, 28, were arrested on charges of domestic violence assault, Barton said.
They were taken to the Franklin County jail in Farmington and were being held on $500 cash bail Thursday.
