FARMINGTON — Franklin County commissioners voted Dec. 16 to allow nonunion employees to have Christmas and the day after off.
The Franklin County Courthouse will be closed those days.
Instead of having a half day off Christmas Eve, staff would rather have the day after Christmas off because it’s a Friday, county Clerk Julie Magoon said.
Nonunion staff will work all day Dec. 24, Dec. 31 and Jan. 2, she said.
