BOOTHBAY HARBOR (AP) — A Boothbay Harbor home has been destroyed in a Christmas night fire, but authorities say all the residents made it out OK.
Several family pets, however, did perish.
Crews arrived at the seven on Lakeview Road at about 8:30 p.m. Thursday to find the home fully engulfed.
The blaze was under control quickly, but not before the home was destroyed.
Several nearby fire departments helped battle the blaze.
The cause remains under investigation.
